The blue line is the line of your performance ability.
The dark red curve is the performance curve. While training, the performance
ability goes below the blue line.
When you do your training before this phase has ended you get a drop in
performance (red curve). This is called “over training”.
In connection to the relaxation phase follows the phase of
super-compensation. Here the performance ability grows high above the base
line. If you do your training during this phase, your performance ability
increases (green line).
After the super-compensation phase the performance ability slowly returns to
the base line.
In the following chapter I am going to show you how simple this knowledge is
to convert and how you are able to increase your performance continuously.
